ScotRail is providing extra trains and additional carriages for this week’s remaining Glasgow Summer Sessions concerts, helping thousands of music fans travel to and from Bellahouston Park.
Following a busy opening weekend, the festival continues with Alanis Morissette on Tuesday, 30 June, Pitbull on Wednesday, 1 July, Kings of Leon on Friday, 3 July, and My Chemical Romance on Saturday, 4 July, with crowds of up to 35,000 expected each night.
To support customers travelling to the concerts, ScotRail is adding extra carriages to Paisley Canal services, along with additional trains between Dumbreck and Glasgow Central after each show.
From 22.00 each evening, buses will replace trains between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal. This allows special shuttle services to operate between Dumbreck and Glasgow Central, helping fans return home after the concerts.
Due to road closures and event restrictions, replacement buses will not serve Dumbreck or Corkerhill stations.
Customers are encouraged to plan their journey in advance, allow extra time for travel, and buy return tickets before boarding.
Queuing systems may be in place at Glasgow Central before the concerts and at Dumbreck station afterwards, with extra ScotRail staff on hand to direct customers.

“When the concerts finish, we’d also ask customers to be considerate of the local community as they make their way back to the station.”
