St Patrick's Primary School celebrating the achievement

St Patrick’s Primary School in Coatbridge is proud to have achieved the Gold School Sport Award, recognising the school’s commitment to physical education, school sport and active, healthy lifestyles.
The award reflects the strong sporting culture at St Patrick’s, where pupils develop skills, enjoy being active and take part in a wide range of opportunities throughout the school day and beyond.
It also recognises the valuable contribution of pupil leaders in promoting sport and physical activity across the school.
Jacqueline Hagerty, Head Teacher of St Patrick’s Primary School, said: “We are delighted to receive the Gold School Sport Award. This achievement reflects the enthusiasm of our pupils, the dedication of our staff and the support of our families.
“At St Patrick’s, we believe sport and physical activity help children to build confidence, resilience and teamwork.
“We are especially proud of our pupil leaders, who encourage participation and help create an active, inclusive environment for all. This award recognises the positive sporting ethos at the heart of our school community.”
